Participation in a sport means developing meaningful relationships with teammates and coaches, learning good sportsmanship, teamwork, and creates a solid foundation for a healthy, active lifestyle. With many of our fall activities drawing to a close, coaches and athletes are looking forward to the winter season with both girls and boys basketball, boys and girls wrestling, and girls swim all starting within the next few weeks. You must have a current physical uploaded and all sections completed/cleared in Privit
- Tryouts for boys basketball will begin on Monday, November 2nd in the small/auxiliary gym from 2:45 – 4:30 PM for Freshman/Sophomores and 4:30 – 6:00 PM for Juniors/Seniors. For more information, contact Head Coach Jake Kates at email@example.com.
- Girls basketball tryouts will take place in the main gym, beginning Monday, November 2nd at 2:45 – 5:00 PM. For more information, contact Head Coach Scott Schaefer at scott_schaefer@isdschools.
- Tryouts for girls & boys wrestling will take place on Nov. 2nd from 2:45 – 4:45 PM — meet in the wrestling room by the weight room. Bring wrestling shoes, running shoes, gym shorts and t-shirt (no cut off sleeves). For more information, contact Riley Glasgow (boys team coach) at riley_glasgow@isdschools.

- The first day of practice for girls swim is Monday, November 9th from 2:45 – 5:00 PM at the Henley Aquatic Center (located at Bridger Middle School). Transportation from Chrisman to Henley is provided (bus 248), but there will not be a return bus back to school — swimmers need to be picked up from the aquatic center after practice. Remember — you must have a current physical uploaded and all sections cleared (completely in the green) on Privit before you will be allowed to participate in any of these activities.
